What critics thought
Critics largely dismissed this sequel as a lazy, unfunny retread — the dominant complaint being that the raunchy humor crosses into genuine offensiveness without the wit to justify it, and that the cast's charm is wasted on a script that runs out of ideas well before the halfway mark. The rare defender argued the formula, however thin, delivers slightly more consistent entertainment than expected, but that was a minority position drowned out by near-unanimous pans.
