It's been 10 years since John Connor saved Earth from Judgment Day, and he's now living under the radar, steering clear of using anything Skynet can trace. A competent but uninspired sequel, T3 divides critics largely on whether its self-aware humor and relentless action compensate for being a lesser echo of T2. Those who enjoyed it treated it as a solid summer B-movie; those who didn't found it repetitive, mechanical, and content to coast on franchise goodwill.
