Frank Martin puts the driving gloves on to deliver Valentina, the kidnapped daughter of a Ukrainian government official, from Marseilles to Odessa on the Black Sea. En route, he has to contend with thugs who want to intercept Valentina's safe delivery and not let his personal feelings get in the way of his dangerous objective.

Mixed-to-negative reviews mark this third outing as a step down from its predecessors, with critics broadly agreeing the car chases feel hollow and the plot barely holds together. Statham himself escapes most of the blame — the fight scenes he anchors get genuine praise — but the film around him divides critics sharply: a handful found it a perfectly serviceable dose of brainless formula, while others felt it exposed the franchise running on fumes. The one thing nearly everyone agreed on was lead Nadia Rudakova's performance, which was widely panned, though even there a few contrarian voices insisted the criticism was beside the point.
